02 The paper
Museum-grade. Made to outlive you.
Every Tamarac piece is a giclée print on 100% cotton rag — 310gsm archival museum paper, printed by Andreas Kahlau at SilverTone International with fine-art pigment inks. It is the same acid-free, gallery-standard stock used for limited-edition art and museum archiving — rated to hold its colour for a century or more, without fading or yellowing. An heirloom, not a poster.
Signed edition of 20
A signed, limited edition of just 20 — once the run is gone, the image is never reprinted.
100% cotton rag
Acid-free and lignin-free, with no optical brighteners to yellow over time — the archival standard museums and galleries print on.
Pigment inks
True fine-art pigment inks, not dye — rated to resist fading for 100+ years on display, so the Cape Town light in the frame never dulls.
Three matte surfaces
Ultra-Smooth, Slight-Texture or Water-Colour — matte throughout, never glossy, so it reads as a photograph, not a screen.
